In the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated May 31, 2025, No. 345 "On Measures for the Procurement of Wheat from the 2025 Harvest and Stable Provision of the Domestic Market with Grain," it was announced that the State Support Fund for Agriculture under the Ministry of Economy and Finance will allocate credit resources to commercial banks serving seed wheat procurement enterprises for a period of 12 months (including a grace period of 6 months) at a rate 4 percentage points lower than 50% of the Central Bank's base rate to finance the costs of purchasing, procuring, and insuring seed wheat.
In order to ensure the implementation of this resolution, commercial banks will allocate loans to seed wheat procurement enterprises at the expense of these credit resources for a period of 12 months (including a grace period of 6 months) in the amount of 50 percent of the Central Bank's base rate based on an insurance policy.
Taking the above into account, JSCB "Microcreditbank" has developed a loan "Barakali bug'doy" for working capital required for the purchase and procurement of seed wheat for the purpose of supplying high-quality seeds to agricultural enterprises (farms).
This loan is provided in national currency to legal entities that are business entities. In this case, a copy of the futures and contracting agreement, an application, a business plan or cash flow forecast, a purchase and sale agreement for goods and products (services), and other additional documents may be required from the client.
Also, in order to ensure food security in the regions and prevent an increase in the cost of basic consumer goods, the bank has developed the "Agro Reserve" loan product to replenish working capital required for the storage, storage, and processing of food products.
The "Agro Reserve" loan is provided to small and medium-sized businesses, that is, to clients who have special warehouses and refrigerated warehouses for storing agricultural and food products, or to legal entities that have concluded lease agreements granting the right to carry out this activity and use buildings and structures, with a grace period of up to 6 months, up to 4 months for the repayment of the principal debt.
The maximum loan amount is 5 billion soums, which is 30% per annum.
