
On March 26, Mikrokreditbank held a regular press conference at the National Press Center on "Activities to Increase Employment and Poverty Reduction in 2025 and Plans for 2026." It was attended by members of the bank's board, directors of relevant departments, media representatives, journalists, and bloggers.
It should be noted that Microcreditbank carries out its activities in the country to create new jobs by developing small business, private and individual entrepreneurship, supporting handicrafts and home-based work, and expanding microfinance services, especially in rural areas.
In particular, the work carried out in 2025 was briefly reviewed.
To assist 320 "Mahalla Bankers" operating in 1,062 mahallas assigned to 92 regional branches of the bank, 1,062 assistant agents are working on a contractual basis (including 532 women and 530 men).
1. Regarding the allocated loans:
In 2025, 10.2 trillion soums were allocated, including 7.9 trillion soums to small and medium-sized businesses and 4.2 trillion soums in loans under programs. Of these,
936 billion soums under Resolution No. PP-312;
"First Step to Business" - 456.4 billion soums;
Family entrepreneurship program - 1.6 trillion soums;
The "My Mahalla" program costs 1.1 trillion soums.
2. In the field of ensuring public employment:
In 2025, 345,895 people were employed. Of these, 122,066 people were employed permanently, and 223,829 people were involved in entrepreneurship.
3. For micro-projects offered by the Bank to the population:
In 2025, 98,305 jobs were created as a result of 905.1 billion soums in loans allocated for 47,975 micro-projects.
Additionally, project packages worth 318 billion soums were delivered to 11,142 low-income households, providing employment for 16,704 people.
4. Meetings with bank clients (Uychi experiment)
In 2025, 15,809 jobs were created as a result of resolving 13,940 appeals raised during 3,275 meetings with 50,850 bank entrepreneurs.
5. Model projects based on the "One contour - one product" principle.
As a result of allocating 2.9 billion soums in concessional loans for 159 exemplary projects based on the "One contour - one product" principle, profitable and export-oriented products were planted on 1,747 hectares of land leased to the population (5,210 people). As a result, 34,764 tons of products were grown, of which 2,195 tons were exported, and a total of 211.3 billion soums was received.
6. Implementation of the "From Poverty to Prosperity" program
The heads and deputies of 181 regional branches of the bank improved the income of 412 families and removed them from the social register. Here,
- 137 residents were placed in permanent jobs;
- 84 people were involved in entrepreneurship;
- 229 million soums in loans were allocated to 2 people;
- 4 people were trained in professions;
- Other (social, medical, and educational services and clubs) were seen by 185 people.
The bank's "Mahalla mkb.uz" platform was created and launched to evaluate the effectiveness of work carried out by sub-agents in mahallas.
Mahalla agents assisted in issuing 26.6 thousand plastic cards, 27.8 billion soums in deposits from 131 residents, and 822.3 billion soums in loans to 2,704 residents.
Tasks defined for 2026
1. Loans totaling 11 trillion soums will be allocated from all sources. Of these, 7.4 trillion soums will be allocated to small and medium-sized businesses, including 4.8 trillion soums in loans under programs, and about 140,000 projects will be implemented. Based on the specialization of mahallas, 347 billion soums of credit funds will be allocated for more than 10.5 thousand micro-projects in 1,062 mahallas.
Based on the "One contour - one product" principle, aggregators and cooperative members will plant income-generating and export-oriented products on 4,775 hectares of land in 362 contours leased to 7,129 dehkan farms.
As a result of the allocation of 116.2 billion soums in loans in 2026 under the "Step to the Future" program (PQ-61) to assist in the employment of higher education graduates, it is planned to provide employment for 3,600 graduates.
2. A total of 400 million dollars will be attracted from external sources, of which 150 million dollars will be directed toward investment projects and 175 million dollars toward supporting small and medium-sized businesses.
According to the execution of the plan for January-March
To date, the bank has allocated 1.7 trillion soums, including 1.2 trillion soums to small and medium-sized businesses, including 557.1 billion soums in loans under programs. Specifically, in January-March, 16,719 people were employed to ensure public employment. Of these, 3,724 were employed permanently, and 12,995 were involved in entrepreneurship. Based on meetings with bank clients (Uychi experience), 488 meetings were held with 9,852 entrepreneurs. As a result of the positive resolution of 1,671 issues raised during the meetings, 1,822 new jobs were created.
Within the framework of Resolution No. PP-49, in 2026, 42 aggregators will allocate 5,850 billion soums in preferential loans to aggregators for the cultivation of melons and vegetables to implement 362 exemplary projects based on the "One contour - one product" principle on a total of 4,775 hectares (including 1,749 hectares in 2024-2025 and 3,026 hectares in 2026) leased to the population (7,129 people).
For example, in the "Shampan" mahalla of the Parkent district of the Tashkent region, tomatoes will be planted on 10 hectares of land leased to 10 young people (1 hectare each). Futures contracts were signed between the "Transport Globus" enterprise and the landowners for crop cultivation; according to preliminary calculations, 350 tons of products will be grown in the first crop, and each young person is expected to receive an income of 60 million soums.
