Our country, especially Bukhara, has a long history of melon farming, one of its important branches. The Avesta also says that our land is full of such delicacies that make the tongue tingle. Melon products grown in Bukhara are distinguished not only by their taste, but also by their healing properties. Famous varieties such as Shirozi, Amiri, Kokcha, Borikalla, Barginay Gulobi are grown by Bukhara farmers and are brought to the table of our people.

"Mikrokreditbank" JSCB has launched a melon production project in the Shofirkan district based on the "One Contour - One Product" principle in order to develop agriculture, provide employment, and increase sources of income.
A 10-hectare area was allocated from the Bobokhaydar mahalla, where 22 farmers' farms were established. Each farmer was allocated 45 acres of land, where melons are grown. According to calculations, the annual income of one landowner (45 acres) from the first harvest is 70 million soums and the net profit is 62 million soums.
"Do‘stlik Meva Sabzavot" LLC was involved in the project as an aggregator, and the total cost of the project was 160 million soums. Of this, 100 million soums were allocated as a preferential loan through Microcreditbank.
It can be said that Microcredit Bank has developed a total of 13 projects in the region based on the principle of "One account - one product", and these projects have provided employment for 554 people in Bukhara.
