Gazalkent is a region located at the foot of the mountains, attracting many tourists with its clean air and unique nature. Hundreds of thousands of local and foreign guests visit this place annually. Therefore, tourism and the service sector have become the main directions of economic development in the district.
Microcreditbank is also carrying out significant work to support entrepreneurs in the region, in particular, to further develop women's entrepreneurship.
The Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of the bank, Shakhlo Ibragimova, familiarized herself with the large-scale projects being implemented by the Gazalkent BHO of the Bostanlyk district of the Tashkent region.
The first destination was the private clinic "GEMOTEST-LAB." This medical institution, established in 2020, is currently implementing a number of investment projects in the field of providing multidisciplinary medical services in cooperation with JSCB "Microcreditbank" Gazalkent BPO.
In 2024, unstable buildings, equipment and machinery were purchased on the basis of a loan of 1.796 billion soums, and X-ray and ultrasound equipment and machinery were purchased on the basis of a loan of 100 million soums. Total loan funds amounted to more than 1.896 billion soums.
"Currently, 6 permanent employees are employed, and upon full employment, 25 jobs will be created," says the head of the clinic, Shakhlo Saydullayeva.
In the first half of this year, about 7 billion soums of loans were allocated through the Gazalkent BXO of JSCB "Microcreditbank," and 35 clients started their own businesses. Of these, 14 were women, and 3 billion soums were allocated for their initiatives. As a result, about 40 people were employed.
One of the entrepreneurs who wisely uses such opportunities is the head of the family enterprise "Toto Cake," which produces national confectionery products, Iroda Mirkurbanova.
"With the help of Microcreditbank, we purchased modern equipment for our enterprise. Now we prepare and deliver sweets for 80-90 weddings and ceremonies per month. Our annual income exceeds 300 million soums. It is gratifying that hundreds of our girls and daughters-in-law are participating in our master classes and gaining knowledge in this field. Many of them have started independent work, and I am proud of my students," says Iroda. "With the help of Microcreditbank, we purchased modern equipment for our enterprise. Foreign specialists will also be involved in the master classes held at this enterprise. Recently, specialists from the Chinese company "Perilla-food" organized a master class for Gazalkent confectioners. This contributed to the acquisition of more knowledge and skills by specialists in the region.
On the same day, the project of the guest house of "BEGZOD IBROXIM BIZNESS" LLC, aimed at increasing the tourism potential of the district, was also presented.
For the construction of this guest house, Mikrokreditbank allocated more than 1.25 billion soums of credit funds. The complex, equipped with modern equipment, can accommodate 20-25 tourists simultaneously. Through this project, it is planned to create up to 10 seasonal jobs in the future.
