A population census headquarters has been established in Bukhara.

Within the framework of ensuring the implementation of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated September 19, 2025 No. UP-173, on November 3-4, a population census headquarters was established in the city of Bukhara, Bukhara region, assigned to the Chairman of the Management Board of JSCB "Microcreditbank" O.Butaev.

Also, registration points for the population census have been established in 65 mahallas of the city of Bukhara.

On the same day, the execution of the decree was explained to the mahalla seven through ZOOM, and responsible persons were instructed to provide practical assistance in the positive resolution of upcoming work and issues.

It should be noted that today the mahalla seven are required to be active in the population census.

For reference, the population census provides a complete picture of the population size, gender and age structure, living conditions, and migration. The UN recommends conducting a population census at least once every 10 years.
