Samarkand once again attracted the attention of the whole world. Yes, the "Samarkand Marathon - 2025," held on November 8-9 in the eternal city, became one of the brightest sporting events of the year. This international festival, held for the seventh time, also served to harmonize attention to running and the environment.
Most pleasingly, the MKBANK team also actively participated in the marathon and worthily defended the honor of our bank. Every step of our employees is a step towards a healthy life, team cohesion, and positive change!
Participants ran through historical monuments such as Registan Square and the Bibi-Khanym Mosque. This combined running, history, and ecology at one point.
The event was attended by the founder of the plogging movement - Swedish environmental activist Erik Ahlstrom, who said: "Through plogging, we can keep our planet clean for future generations!"
