In the "Zhigachi" mahalla of the Karakul district, there is the Street of Beekeepers, which was newly named. Interestingly, residents of the neighborhood, led by the head of the "Hasanobod shifo bol" farm, Gayrat Iskandarov, are caring for a bee colony.

In this project based on cooperation, beehives will be distributed to households in the mahalla, and the products of families growing honey will be purchased by farms, packaged, and sent to the domestic market.

The head of the farm, Gayrat Iskandarov, started this project in 2024 with the help of a loan from Mikrokreditbank in the amount of 680 million soums.
"My ancestors were engaged in beekeeping, and I am happy to continue this profession and benefit our neighborhood", says G'ayrat Iskandarov.

This year, the bank allocated another 300 million soums in loans, and within the framework of the project, beehives were distributed to 20 low-income families. According to the farmer, it is planned to cover 100 families in total.

"Thank you to Gayratjon and the bank employees for naming our neighborhood after beekeepers and making families like us profitable," say the residents of the neighborhood who are happily raising bees.
MKBANK will continue to support promising initiatives.
