Today, a seminar-training on cybersecurity was organized for bank employees at the head office of JSCB "Microcreditbank" in cooperation with the Department for Combating Crimes in the Field of Information Technologies of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of the city of Tashkent of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
During the seminar, banking employees were explained in detail such issues as protection from cybercrime in the internet space, protecting citizens from deception and fraud, protecting personal data, and observing the rules of "cyber hygiene."
We know that in today's modern world, the number of cyber threats is growing rapidly. And the world's mass media report on new events every day. Examples include the dissemination of virus programs, password hacking, embezzlement of funds from credit cards and other bank details, as well as the dissemination of illegal information through the Internet.
As experts note, in some cases, there are cases of fraud, such as gaining the trust of citizens through fake calls and false messages on behalf of commercial banks, and obtaining online loans. Therefore, it is important to increase the vigilance of employees and ensure the safety of clients.
At the end of the event, participants had the opportunity to receive practical advice on the prevention of cyberattacks and answers to their questions on the topic.
