It should be noted that comprehensive measures aimed at combating corruption and preventing the commission of this type of crime are being systematically implemented in our country. A number of regulatory legal acts aimed at eliminating systemic problems causing corruption in all spheres of state and public life have been adopted and are being implemented in practice.
In particular, a training seminar on the topic "Corruption is the enemy of development" was organized for employees of the Kashkadarya regional branch of JSCB "Microcreditbank."
The meeting was attended by the bank's management and employees, as well as the head of the Kashkadarya regional prosecutor's office, Behruz Pulatov, cybersecurity officer of the regional internal affairs department, Oybek Nabiyev, and platoon commander of the regional National Guard department, Aziz Hamrayev.
During the seminar, it was emphasized that, despite the implementation of measures aimed at preventing corruption in our country, there are still cases of officials committing crimes related to corruption in law enforcement practice. It was noted with concern that the number of corruption crimes is not decreasing, mainly in the spheres of medicine, education, public services, in particular, in the areas of licensing and permitting the activities of banks and business entities.
It was explained with examples that this evil undermines the foundations of democracy and the rule of law, leads to violations of human rights, hinders the functioning of markets, deteriorates the quality of life, and creates conditions for the spread of organized crime, terrorism, and other phenomena that threaten people's safety.
At the end of the training seminar, employees, along with receiving answers to their questions, expressed the need to jointly combat this disease.
Indeed, today it is the duty of each of us to fight against corruption and prevent it. The fewer corruption vices there are in our society, the more society develops.
