
On the occasion of December 8 - the Day of the adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a spiritual and educational event "Constitution - a guarantee of human dignity, freedom, equality and justice!" and the "Open Doors" Day on December 9 - International Anti-Corruption Day were held at the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
Deputy of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis Botirali Shodiev, Head of the Department of the Compliance Service of the Central Bank Abdulaziz Yusupov, media representatives and bank employees took part in the open dialogue organized in connection with these two important dates.

The role of the Constitution in the development of society, its significance as the highest legal guarantee of reliable protection of the rights of every citizen, was especially emphasized. It was noted that each article of the Constitution is not only a legal provision, but also a foundation for the honor, freedom, and well-being of every citizen. It was also noted that the legal guarantees enshrined in the Constitution play a key role in ensuring the rule of law, protecting the rights of clients, justice, honesty, and responsibility in the activities of the bank.

At the event, information was also presented on the essence and content of current legislation on corruption and the implementation of the tasks defined in them, measures taken in the system in the direction of openness, transparency, and the fight against corruption.
It was also emphasized that there are negative cases of corruption in the bank and that punishment for such offenses is inevitable. Therefore, the active participation of each employee in the fight against this vice was explained with real-life examples.


At the end of the event, it was once again reminded that the bank has the ability to report corruption or conflicts of interest through communication channels.
We believe that these spiritual and educational events, held in a spirit of sincere and open dialogue, will serve as an important tool for further improving the legal literacy of the MKBANK team.
