These days, a revised draft of the "Uzbekistan-2030" strategy, designed for five years - 2026-2030, is undergoing public discussion.
As you know, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, in his Address on December 26, 2025, emphasized the task of revising the "Uzbekistan - 2030" strategy. Currently, an improved draft of the "Uzbekistan - 2030" Strategy has been developed and re-submitted for discussion.
This program document, adopted in 2023, serves as the basis for great results in all spheres and sectors.
In accordance with the instructions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, this document, which concerns the development of our country for the next five years, will be discussed by the general public and improved based on the opinions of the population.
The "Uzbekistan - 2030" Strategy, developed based on the experience gained during the implementation of the New Uzbekistan Development Strategy and the results of public discussion, reflects the following main ideas:
• to join the ranks of countries with above-average income through sustainable economic growth;
• creation of an education, healthcare, and social protection system that fully meets the needs of the population and international standards;
• creation of favorable environmental conditions for the population;
• building a just and modern state serving the people;
• guaranteed provision of the country's sovereignty and security.
The "Uzbekistan - 2030" Strategy consists of the following 5 priority areas:
• creating decent conditions for each person to realize their potential;
• ensuring the well-being of the population through sustainable economic growth;
• conservation of water resources and environmental protection;
• ensuring the rule of law, organizing public administration in the service of the people;
• consistent continuation of the policy based on the principle of a "safe and peace-loving state."
According to the presidential decree, the implementation of the "Uzbekistan - 2030" Strategy and the achievement of its target indicators are defined as priority tasks in the activities of all state bodies and organizations.
"Uzbekistan - 2030" is not just a document, it is the strategy of our future life.
