On February 5, the annual reporting meeting of the international Women Entrepreneurs Finance Initiative - WE-Finance Code was held at the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The annual results of the "WE-Finance Code" initiative not only open up broader opportunities for women's entrepreneurship, but also lay the foundation for strengthening inclusivity and social stability in the country's economy.
Within the framework of the event, a new data platform was presented, reflecting the results achieved in the process of implementing the initiative in Uzbekistan, gender statistics on women's leadership. In addition, proposals were made for the development of new products for women.
Mikrokreditbank, supporting the WE-Finance Code initiative and being its official member, demonstrates its commitment to the development of women's entrepreneurship. In particular, during the reporting period, Microcreditbank organized a microloan "Perspective Woman" for women.
WE-Finance Code is a global initiative launched in 2023 by the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund, the goal of which is to expand the financial resource opportunities of women entrepreneurs and create equal conditions for business development. Today, this initiative is being implemented in more than 30 countries around the world.
