This year Microcreditbank of Uzbekistan is in the best banks of the World, winning Bank of The Year Award 2012. Representatives of prestigious journal The Banker informed that decision was accepted by the expert committee of the Bank of The Year Award 2012 due to results of the bank achieved in 9 months of a this year. One of prestigious awards in banking - The Bracken column is named after Brendan Bracken, the founding editor of The Banker was presented to representatives of the bank in special Awards Ceremony on 28th of November in London. Winning of the Award confirms success of the bank this year.
Award of the journal The Banker, for which compete leading financial institutions is a standard of banking. Participants are estimated with their abilities to provide profitability of shareholders and achieving strategic advantage. Bank of the Year Award is presented to one of banks every year.
According to experts of The Banker this is second time for Microicreditbank winning award, what once again confirms successful strategy in developing market and evidence of good assets and effective risk management. Innovative technologic projects enforced bank in creating more that 500 thousand new job places. Among one of important advantages of the strategy is attracting deposits of population. This stable source of financing enables in active participation in development of the country.
Every year experts of leading journal of financial industry The Banker (owned by The Financial Times), determine “Bank of The Year” among finance and credit institutions in 150 countries. This year 630 banks of the world were nominated for the prestigious award. All banks were examined due to group of criteria’s: quality indexes (quality of assets, financial stability, support to clients, creating new job places) and quantity indexes (attracting sufficient amounts of capital, M&A deals, implementing new technologies, products and business directions).
