In recent years, legislative acts on combating corruption and conflicts of interest have been updated in our country to ensure transparency in public procurement. Undoubtedly, the development of this system and the use of modern technologies for conducting all purchases legally and in good faith are yielding positive results.
Taking this into account, JSCB "Microcreditbank" was the first among commercial banks to initiate the digitalization of its procurement plan for goods and services essential to the bank's operations.
As a result, a new module has been created in the bank's iABS program, which is currently being used in practice in test mode. This module enables electronic formation of the bank's annual procurement plan, broken down by Head Office and regions, and centralizes the organization of procurement processes, thereby increasing cost savings. Most importantly, the purchase of goods and services will be transparent, preventing conflicts of interest.
Additionally, as part of the project, through integration with special portals - exarid.uzex.uz, XT-xarid.uz, cooperation.uz, and etender.uzex.uz - the bank's purchasing processes on these platforms will be viewable in real-time within the iABS program.
Providers and service providers will be given the opportunity to offer their services openly and transparently. At the same time, state procurement for construction, reconstruction and overhaul of bank buildings is carried out through electronic tender (competition) tenders, which are held without the participation of the human factor through the national information system "Transparent Construction". In addition, information exchange with the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan will be established through the Unified National Classifier of goods (works and services) used in the field of public procurement.
The key aspect is that these processes are free from human intervention. As a result, there will be no room for conflicts of interest, corruption, or favoritism. In the future, such digitalization is planned to be implemented in bank storage facilities as well.
