During his visit to the Khorezm region on May 1-2 of this year, the Head of State gave important instructions to transform the Bogat district into a district free of female unemployment, introduce a neighborhood approach in this regard, and popularize effective experiences.
In order to ensure the implementation of these tasks, a number of practical works are being carried out by JSCB "Mikrokreditbank". Yesterday, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the bank, Shakhlo Ibragimova, visited the Bogot district and got acquainted with how the instructions given by the head of our state are being implemented.
Container stores for women - a place of new opportunities
At the initiative of JSCB "Mikrokreditbank", modern container stores were established in the district. They house bookstores, food stores, children's clothing, sewing workshops, beauty salons and other types of retail outlets. A total of 11 women who started their businesses in these containers were allocated loans in the amount of 350 million soums. Shakhlo Ibragimova got acquainted with their activities and studied their problems and proposals.
It is worth noting that as of May 2025, the total amount of loans allocated to women in the Bogat district under state programs amounted to 111 billion soums. The number of jobs created through this amounted to 50.
The "One Contour - One Product" project: an effective solution to unemployment
Another important initiative by Mikrokreditbank JSCB in Topchi mahalla is the allocation of land for rent based on the principle of "One contour - one product" and the launch of a project to grow export-oriented and high-profit agricultural products.
A 10-hectare plot of land has been leased to 65 residents of the neighborhood, each with 15 sotikhs, where watermelons are being grown as the first crop. It is planned to produce 7.5 tons of produce. The next repeated crop is carrots, which are expected to produce 4.5 tons of produce.
Importantly, the project will provide 65 unemployed citizens with a source of income. According to estimates, the net profit from watermelons is expected to be 812 million soums, and from carrots - 507 million soums.
Providing employment to women is one of the most pressing issues of our time. The work carried out by Mikrokreditbank JSCB in the Bogat district clearly demonstrates that practical results can be achieved in this area.
