Greetings, esteemed representatives of the mass media!
Today we want to inform you about the plans implemented by Microcreditbank in 2025 and 2026 to increase employment and reduce poverty. It should be noted that Microcreditbank is carrying out its activities in our country to create new jobs by developing small business, private and individual entrepreneurship, supporting handicrafts and home-based work, and expanding microfinance services, especially in rural areas.
In particular, I would like to briefly dwell on the work carried out in 2025.
To assist 323 "Mahalla Bankers" in carrying out activities in 1,062 mahallas assigned to 92 regional branches of the bank, 1,062 assistant agents are working on a contractual basis.
In 2025, 10.2 trillion soums were allocated, including 7.9 trillion soums to small and medium-sized businesses and 4.2 trillion soums in loans within the framework of programs. As a result, employment was provided for more than 344 people. Of these, 122 thousand were employed permanently, and 222 thousand were involved in entrepreneurship.
In 2025, 905.1 billion soums of bank loans were allocated to 47,975 micro-projects, creating 98,305 jobs. Also, as a result of the delivery of project packages worth 318 billion soums to 11,142 low-income households, 16,704 people were employed.
During the reporting period, special attention was paid to holding regular meetings with bank clients. For example, in 2025, more than 3,200 meetings were held with about 51,000 bank entrepreneurs. As a result of the resolution of about 14 thousand appeals raised in it, about 16 thousand jobs were created.
Positive results have also been achieved in financing exemplary projects based on the principle of "one contour - one product." That is, on 1,474 hectares of land leased to the population (5,210 people), as a result of the allocation of 3 billion soums in concessional loans for 159 exemplary projects based on the principle of "One contour - one product," profitable and export-oriented products were grown.
As a result, our farmers produced 34,764 tons of products, of which 2,200 tons were exported, and a total income of 211.3 billion soums was received.
Systematic work has also been carried out within the framework of the implementation of the "From Poverty to Prosperity" program put forward by the President of our country.
For example, the heads and deputies of 181 regional branches of the bank improved the income of 412 families and removed them from the social register.
The bank's "Mahalla mkb.uz" platform was launched to assess the effectiveness of the work carried out by assistant agents in mahallas.
Mahalla agents assisted in the allocation of 26.6 thousand plastic cards, savings of 27.8 billion soums from 131 residents, and loans of 822.3 billion soums to 2,704 residents.
Now I will give a brief overview of the tasks set for 2026.
This year, 11 trillion soums of loans will be allocated from all sources. Of these, 7.3 trillion soums will be allocated to small and medium-sized businesses, of which 4.9 trillion soums will be allocated within the framework of programs.
Therefore,
- 700 billion soums for continuous support of small businesses;
- 473 billion soums within the framework of "First Step to Business";
- 2.4 trillion soums within the framework of the family entrepreneurship program;
- 1.3 trillion soums for deepening the specialization of mahallas within the framework of the "Mahalla Project."
Due to this, 167,668 jobs will be created in 2026. Including
- By ensuring the employment of women - 14,701 people;
- By attracting young people to entrepreneurship - 11,359 people;
- By expanding the activities of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises - 123,904;
- By providing project packages to households - 11,891 people.
Based on the specialization of mahallas, 2.7 trillion soums of credit funds will be allocated for more than 44 thousand micro-projects in 1,062 assigned mahallas.
Based on the "One contour - one product" principle, exemplary projects will be implemented on 1,447 hectares of land leased to 5,207 dehkan farms in 159 contours.
A total of $400 million will be attracted from external sources, of which $150 million will be directed to investment projects and $175 million to support small and medium-sized businesses.
Thank you for your attention!
