Deputy Chairman of the Board of JSCB "Mikrokreditbank" Shakhlo Ibragimova visited the Karakul district during a business trip to the Bukhara region and got acquainted with one of the promising initiatives of the Jigachi mahalla - the cooperative project of the "Hasanobod Shifo Bol" farm. It is noteworthy that beehives are distributed to households within the framework of this initiative, creating a source of employment and income through them.

Farm manager Gayrat Iskandarov launched the project in 2024 with a 680 million soum loan from Microcreditbank. This year, the bank allocated another 300 million soum loan, and as part of the project, beehives were distributed to 20 low-income families. The farmer said that a total of 100 families are expected to be covered.

It should be noted that today the products of honey-growing families are purchased by the farm, packaged and sold on the domestic market.
Shakhlo Ibragimova also spoke with women who keep bees in the neighborhood. Speaking about their activities, they happily noted that they contribute to the family
budget through such projects.
Although beekeeping requires a lot of work and responsibility, it is very convenient for women because it can be done in a family environment. These projects are an important step in developing their entrepreneurial potential, organizing their own business, and achieving financial independence.
