
Today, with the participation of Chairman of the Board Orif Butayev, an open dialogue was held with local craftsmen within the framework of the newly built Craftsmen Center project in Khiva, Khorezm region, with the financial support of the bank. The participants were informed about the work being carried out within the framework of this project, the development of the industry, the effective use of existing opportunities, and financial support.

As you know, in accordance with the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On additional measures to accelerate the comprehensive socio-economic development of the Khorezm region" dated November 27, 2024, it is planned to establish a Craftsmen's Center on a 6.2-hectare plot of land selected by Microcredit Bank from the territory adjacent to the "Tort Shovvoz" cultural heritage site in the city of Khiva.

This center will provide a convenient opportunity for artisans and jewelers to produce their products in their workshops, demonstrate these processes to local and foreign tourists, and sell their products.
It is noteworthy that within the framework of this project, it is planned to create more than 1,000 new jobs in the city of Khiva and train 1,000 apprentices annually by craftsmen.

At the end of the event, specific measures were identified in response to the suggestions made by participants within the framework of the Craftsmen Center project.
