Poultry farming is one of the main branches of animal husbandry. The attention paid to the development of poultry farming in our republic today is an important impetus for the development of the industry. In recent years, a number of decisions of the President have been adopted, which have increased the volume of poultry meat and consumer egg production in the industry.

It should be noted that in 2024, the population's demand for eggs for consumption in the republic was met by 115%, and the demand for poultry meat by 106%.

In particular, 58.5 thousand tons of poultry meat and 774 million consumer eggs were produced in Andijan region.

The number of poultry enterprises operating in the region is 84, of which 26 are meat and 58 are egg enterprises.

By 2025, the number of poultry in the region will reach 11.2 million heads, an increase of 102% compared to the previous year.

This year, 18 projects worth a total of 198 billion soums will be implemented, resulting in the creation of additional poultry production capacity of 2.4 million heads, 141 million eggs, and 1.9 thousand tons of poultry products.

For example, the project being implemented by the private enterprise "Baraka Hamkor Parranda" in Asaka district will increase the meat production capacity to 11.2 thousand tons. The enterprise will also launch a modern feed production capacity of 87 thousand tons per year.

As a result, feed consumption will be reduced by 5 percent, electricity consumption by 3 times, and gas consumption by 4 times per kilogram of meat production.

It is planned to export the grown poultry products to Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Afghanistan, and China.

Within the framework of this project, the Microcredit Bank and the Poultry Industry Association held negotiations with the officials of the Andijan Institute of Agriculture and Agrotechnologies on the connection of theoretical and practical knowledge in poultry farming and the organization of poultry farming in households. As a result, an agreement was reached on creating a mechanism for attaching students of the Institute to poultry farms and connecting them to practice on the basis of "Dual education".

As part of the agreement, an initial training and practical seminar was organized at the Baraka Hamkor Parranda private enterprise in Asaka district in order to connect the Institute's graduates to the internship process and provide them with permanent employment.

As a result, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Andijan Institute of Agriculture and Agrotechnologies and the private enterprise "Baraka Hamkor Parranda" to place graduating students in internships on the basis of "Dual Education".
