In order to attract women to entrepreneurship in the Kashkadarya region, ensure their employment, and create opportunities for widespread use of banking services, JSCB "Mikrokreditbank" is implementing large-scale work. In this process, the bank's management meets with entrepreneurs, studies their problems and proposals, explains financial assistance mechanisms, and strengthens initiatives aimed at increasing confidence in banking services.
Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Bank, Shahlo Ibragimova, and Deputy Director of the Department for the Implementation of Social Programs, Bobur Radjabov, visited the Kashkadarya region to get acquainted with the work being carried out in the regions. The officials spoke with local entrepreneurs and informed them about the preferential loans and financial services offered by the bank.
First, they got acquainted with the activities of the "Universal Perfect Speed" Limited Liability Company in the city of Karshi. The head of the enterprise, Shakhlo Kholnazarova, was allocated a soft loan of 700 million soums by Mikrokreditbank, and she effectively used this money to establish furniture production. She also established a training center to train professionals.
— We are attracting women who are staying at home to 3-6-month courses and teaching them various professions and trades. During 2024, more than 500 women were trained in areas such as home nursing, cooking, sewing, and family preparation. Also, courses in carpentry, welding, plumbing, and gardening have been organized for young people who are just starting out in life. Starting from May 1 of this year, modern areas such as IT and computer graphics will also be added, — says the entrepreneur
Shakhlo Kholnazarova noted that the additional support provided by the bank to further expand the activities of the training center is of great importance. In particular, it is planned to further develop the center's activities through the effective use of vacant buildings.
On this day, officials got acquainted with the activities of a number of entities engaged in entrepreneurship in the Karshi district. In particular, they visited the soft toy production project implemented by Otabek Hamdamov LLC and a non-governmental preschool educational institution established by individual entrepreneur Nafisa Aslonova.
During the meeting, entrepreneurs were provided with detailed information about the financial services, preferential loans, and other support mechanisms offered by the bank. They were also briefed on the procedure for becoming a bank client, the advantages available to entrepreneurs, and the possibilities for effective use of financial resources.
During the past period of 2025, 44.5 billion soums of preferential loans were allocated to 2,516 entrepreneurs in the Kashkadarya region, of which 51 percent - 1,282 - was directed to financing the projects of women. By the end of this year, it is planned to provide vocational training and employment to 2,949 unemployed women in the region.
