The Anti-Corruption Agency conducted training on the topic "Managing Conflicts of Interest" for members of special units for regulating conflicts of interest, personnel departments, and ethics commissions of about 50 state agencies and organizations.

During the training, information was obtained on strengthening the principles of impartiality, transparency and accountability in public administration and introducing systematic approaches to preventing risks associated with conflicts of interest.
The training also discussed the concept of conflict of interest, its types, methods for identifying it, and possible legal, institutional and reputational risks.

The training, conducted by international experts from Latvia, used modern educational technologies - theoretical lectures, practical cases, situation analysis, and group work - to develop participants' ability to actively understand and find solutions to problems in regulating relations related to conflicts of interest.

It should be noted that this initiative was organized in cooperation with Transparency International Latvia within the framework of the project "Improving Public Governance in Uzbekistan - Inclusive Corruption Prevention", which is implemented with the financial support of the European Union and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development.
