
As is known, every year in our country and around the world, from November 25 - International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women to December 10 - Human Rights Day, a global campaign "16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence" is held worldwide.

Within the framework of this initiative, this year the UN is organizing a campaign on the theme "Let's Unite to End Digital Violence Against Women." As part of such an international promotional campaign and activity, MKBANK also organized a round table on the topics "16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence" and "Let's Unite to End Digital Violence Against Women and Girls" in connection with the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women.

The event was attended by the Head of the Department for Raising Legal Culture in the Family, Organizing Crime Prevention, and Preventing Harassment and Violence of the Family and Women's Committee - Sobirova Shoira Salohiddinovna, Senior Inspectors for Women's Affairs of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Mirabad District of Tashkent - Major Gavhar Gulyamova, Lieutenant Dildora Mirsobitova, and bank employees.

The event was opened by Sodir Meliboyev, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of JSCB "Microcreditbank," who spoke about the work being carried out in our country to protect women from any violence, in particular, threats in the digital space, and noted that the fight against violence is a continuous process.

Information from the speakers about the work being carried out in our country to combat digital violence, draft laws, protection orders, and the procedure for obtaining them aroused interest among the employees. At the event, the importance of protecting women from any violence, especially threats in the digital space, was emphasized.


During the event, which was held in the form of an open and sincere conversation, employees received answers to their questions. They also watched a social video prepared by the Ministry of Internal Affairs Media Center.
