MKBANK hosted a round table dedicated to the negative consequences of drugs and psychotropic substances.

As part of the month of comprehensive operational and preventive measures "Safe and Healthy Country," MKBANK, together with the Operational-Search Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, organized a round table on the topic "Negative consequences of drugs and psychotropic substances in Uzbekistan, their threat to the lives and future of young people."

The event was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Board S. Melibayev, an employee of the Operational-Search Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Captain Ulugbek Altiboev, bank employees, and youth.

The main goal of this event is to promote a healthy lifestyle among bank employees, especially young people, to increase awareness of the consequences of drug and psychotropic substance use, and to protect them from various harmful diseases.

During the round table, a specialist from the Operational-Search Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs provided detailed information on the negative impact of drugs and psychotropic substances on human health, mental state, and social life. Additionally, the harmful consequences of these vices for the future of youth, the family environment, and the development of society were explained through real-life examples.

At the event, special attention was paid to the measures taken in our country to combat the illicit trafficking of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances, the requirements of current legislation, and the established liability for such offenses.

At the end of the event, the participants exchanged views with specialists on the questions that interested them.

The round table was held in the spirit of an open dialogue and played an important role in protecting young people from various threats, increasing their legal awareness and civic responsibility.
