Uzbekistan has taken an important step towards the development of cashless payments and modern financial services. The national payment system UZCARD has officially launched its first national credit cards.
Mikrokreditbank (MKBANK) was the first among the country's banks to implement the UZCARD credit card project.
Starting June 25, 2026, UZCARD credit cards can be issued at all Banking Service Centers and offices of Mikrokreditbank.
A credit card is a modern payment instrument that allows for payments within the credit limit allocated by the bank. It helps customers conveniently plan purchases, cover unexpected expenses, and make daily payments with additional financial opportunities.
Unlike a regular microloan, a credit card has a number of advantages:
Recoverable credit limit - After the funds used are repaid, the credit limit will be restored and can be used again.
Convenient and comprehensive payments - it is possible to make payments at retail and service points connected to the UZCARD infrastructure.
Online management - you can remotely monitor and manage credit limits, debt, and payments through the bank's mobile application.
MKBANK's UZCARD credit card provides customers with access to modern, convenient, and flexible financial solutions, contributing to the development of the credit product ecosystem in the country.
