Practical work is continuing in our country to develop agriculture, increase its efficiency and export potential, and put the population's farms into operation. The decree of the Head of our state dated February 14, 2025 "On additional measures for the introduction of a modern organizational system and financial support for the activities of household landowners and peasant farms" and the resolution "On the organization of the activities of the Uzagrostar Holding company" became a practical expression of such reforms.

Based on the above decision, the newly established limited liability companies "Quva-Agro Star" and "Fergana-Agro Star" were transferred to Microcreditbank for safe management.
The main tasks of these specialized companies were to form a database on the size of existing farms and land areas in the base and covered districts, the specialization of neighborhoods, and the main export directions, to select, import, and organize the planting of quality seeds and seedlings in cooperation with research institutes, to provide financial support for the introduction of international standards for the cultivation and processing of products, to create a brand of agricultural products, to cooperate with leading entrepreneurs and international specialists to find high-value markets, and to jointly implement projects, to build modern greenhouses on an area of at least 1 hectare based on green technologies, and to develop agrotourism.

A new project in fruit growing and nursery production
The companies, in close cooperation with the residents of the makhallas and with the support of the assistants of the khokims, conducted an inventory of areas specialized in gardening in Fergana and Quva districts. Special attention was paid to the cultivation of fruit and flower seedlings in the plots. The companies "Fergana-Agro Star" and "Quva-Agro Star" signed contracts with local and foreign partners and began supplying high-yielding varieties of apricots, cherries and other fruits.

In addition, with the support of companies:
- 4 thousand apricot seedlings were delivered to 86 poor families in Beshariq district on a sponsored basis;
- 10 thousand apricot and peach seedlings were distributed to 380 households in 53 neighborhoods in Bukhara region;
- Intensive gardens are being created on 32.8 hectares of leased land in Uchkuprik district of Fergana region with the participation of 100 citizens.
Technology, knowledge and digitalization are the foundations of the future
To bring the agricultural sector to a higher level, innovative solutions are required. To this end, newly established companies plan to use modern sensors such as Veris, Soilmeter, and CropX to automate soil analysis, breeding work, and agrotechnical activities.
Online lessons, mobile advisory applications, digital diaries for work plans, educational videos, and interactive platforms will also be developed for farmers and peasants. Manuals from reputable organizations such as the University of California, Cornell University, and the UN Food and Agriculture Organization will be translated into Uzbek.

Financial support and export potential
In the first quarter of this year, Microcreditbank allocated 45.5 billion soums in preferential loans for fruit cultivation and processing to 3,520 individuals and farms across the republic.
At the same time, it is planned to establish an agrologistics center "Quva-Agro Star" on an area of 3 hectares in the Quva district based on green technologies. This center will operate refrigerated and freezer warehouses, packaging and processing workshops, e-commerce platforms, and certification centers for export.

The companies will help to process, package and export local products in accordance with international standards. This will be done in cooperation with reputable international companies such as Intertek and SGS Agriculture. Dehqan farms will be registered as legal entities and will receive export licenses.
In conclusion...
The implementation of the Agro Star model will not only increase the efficiency of agricultural production, but also serve as an important foundation for increasing the income of the population, expanding export opportunities, and developing agricultural products based on science and technology. The steps of the new system are aimed at turning every plot of land of a farmer and peasant into a production area.
