
The first meeting of the Council of Women Entrepreneurs, established at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry at the initiative of the President, was held. The meeting was chaired by Nozimakhon Davletova, a responsible employee of the Presidential Administration, Chairwoman of the Council of Women Entrepreneurs.
The meeting was held in a sincere and friendly spirit. Today, the achievements and emerging problems in the development of women's entrepreneurship were discussed. Shakhlo Ibragimova, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Microcredit Bank, also participated in the meeting as an expert of the Council and expressed her proposals and initiatives.
This Council was established in accordance with the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PQ-103 dated March 14, 2025 "On measures to further improve the system of support for families and women."
The main tasks of the Council are:
to regularly visit the regions, study the problems of women entrepreneurs and develop proposals to eliminate them;
to help popularize the best practices of women entrepreneurs in other regions;
to work specifically with women who have previously implemented entrepreneurial projects, solving their problems and helping them implement their business ideas;
to submit proposals to the Government and the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis to solve systemic problems.
