On March 25 of this year, a press tour was organized with the participation of a group of media representatives to the Umid Limited Liability Company in Tashkent region, financed by the bank.
Today, great attention is paid to poultry farming in our country, because it is poultry farming that plays a key role in providing the population with food and contributes to employment in rural areas.
As you know, according to the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PQ-34 dated January 30, 2025 "On additional measures to support livestock and poultry farming, create high added value in the sector", 50 million US dollars of the Fund for Reconstruction and Development were allocated to increase the authorized capital of JSCB "Microcreditbank" to finance the system of working with households in the poultry sector on a cooperative basis. At the same time, these funds are being used to implement the "Poultry Breeding - Earning Income" project to provide employment to 1 million people in all regions of the republic on a cooperative system in the meat and egg sector of poultry farming.
This project is intended to be implemented by financially rehabilitating under-performing enterprises, merging enterprises on the balance sheets of commercial banks with large, potential enterprises, establishing a system of cooperation between production and processing sectors, and launching new projects in order to ensure employment.
These loan funds will be allocated to business entities that have taken the initiative to implement poultry projects based on a cooperative system.
During a press tour organized by the bank to the Umid Limited Liability Company in the Tashkent region to widely cover the implementation of the decision and the activities of enterprises in this area, participants were closely acquainted with the process of producing poultry products at the enterprise.
The enterprise has 56 poultry houses (annual capacity of 7.5 million broilers) located in the Bozsuv neighborhood of Yangiyul district, with the capacity to produce 9,000 tons of poultry meat per year and supply it to domestic markets.
Also, 1 feed production complex produces 12.5 thousand tons of feed per year. 1 chicken slaughter complex slaughters 4 thousand heads of poultry per hour. 1 refrigerator at the enterprise stores up to 1.2 thousand tons of products.
In addition, the farm has a capacity to feed 157,000 heads of pedigree poultry, with the capacity to produce 19 million hatching eggs and 12 million one-day-old broiler chicks per year.
A loan of 75 billion soums was allocated by Mikrokreditbank JSCB for the enterprise's poultry development project.
In order to ensure the implementation of the decision, the enterprise is establishing poultry farming on the basis of cooperation with idle and low-capacity poultry farms in the region.
Most importantly, 100 new jobs have now been created at this enterprise.
For your information, since the beginning of this year, Mikrokreditbank JSCB has allocated a total of more than 63 billion soums in loans to 8 projects to finance investment projects of business entities.
In 2025, it is planned to produce 10.4 billion eggs (103.8% compared to 2024) and 850,000 tons (105.3%) of live weight poultry meat.
