
Corruption is the unlawful use by a person of their official or service position for the purpose of obtaining material or intangible benefits in personal interests or the interests of other persons, the unlawful provision of such benefits.
The spread of this vice leads to extremely negative consequences.

To this end, a regular training seminar dedicated to combating corruption, conflicts of interest, and ethical conduct was held at the regional branches of JSCB "Microcreditbank" in the Republic of Karakalpakstan and Khorezm region.
The management of JSCB "Microcreditbank," responsible persons and employees of the bank took part in it.

At the training seminar, the negative consequences of corruption, measures of responsibility established by law, dangerous aspects of cybercrime and cybercorruption, as well as the need to wage an uncompromising fight against these vices were emphasized.
It was also noted that the bank has hotlines and communication channels to combat and prevent corruption, bribery, and other negative phenomena. It was explained that not only citizens, but also employees can report violations of legislation in the bank or illegal actions of employees.
Indeed, raising the legal awareness and culture of the population in the fight against corruption, forming an intolerant attitude towards corruption in society, increasing the legal literacy of employees of state bodies and other organizations, issues of legal education and upbringing in the field of combating corruption in educational institutions are one of the important tasks of today. Because people with high legal awareness and legal culture do not allow corruption, which is a negative vice.

During the dialogue, opinions and proposals were expressed on strengthening intolerance towards corruption in society and increasing social activity in combating this vice.
