
In recent years, issues such as protecting the rights and interests of women in Uzbekistan, ensuring gender equality, creating new jobs for them, and attracting them to entrepreneurship have been elevated to the level of state policy. Especially thanks to the efforts of the President, new opportunities have been opened for women. At the same time, Microcreditbank identifies the development and financial support of women's entrepreneurship as one of its priority tasks.
Comprehensive financial support
During 2024, the bank carried out serious work to identify women with new business ideas in each region and district, to help them implement their initiatives. In particular, within the framework of family entrepreneurship development programs, 77,752 women were allocated preferential loans in the amount of 1.175 trillion soums. These funds served to provide employment for more than 78 thousand women.
In addition, 19,372 women have established their businesses through 252 billion soums of resource funds allocated through the Fund for Reconstruction and Development. For example, Munira Dulonova, a resident of Navruz mahalla of Syrdarya region, is one of the entrepreneurs who has achieved great success in the field of beekeeping. Munira, who started her career thanks to a loan allocated by the bank for 33 million soums, later increased production through a preferential loan of 30 million soums and grew 50 bee colonies.
Propaganda and educational events using the example of Syrdarya region
The bank is not limited to providing financial assistance, but regularly conducts promotional and educational events. In particular, on September 27, 2024, the management of "Microcreditbank" JSCB visited the Sardoba district of the Syrdarya region and organized an open dialogue with women. During the meeting, information was provided on new products related to supporting entrepreneurship and the procedure for their use.
Work on training women in entrepreneurial skills in the Monocenter in Sardoba district has yielded high results. To date, about 900 women in this district have successfully completed training courses in professions, entrepreneurial skills and financial literacy.
It should be noted that today the share of practical work on ensuring women's employment has significantly increased in Sardoba district. Based on the program, targeted plans have been identified for the organization of work on vocational training and employment of women, their wide involvement in entrepreneurship based on completely new approaches and systems in the context of mahallas. As a result, today about 900 women in Sardoba district have been trained in professions, entrepreneurial skills and financial literacy.
Similar events and open dialogues were organized in Saykhunabad and Bayaut districts of Syrdarya region. With the participation of the bank's management, meetings and discussions were held with women entrepreneurs and women wishing to start their entrepreneurial activities, together with relevant responsible organizations. During the meetings, the problems and proposals of women were studied, and measures were taken to solve them.
Strategic Plans
It is worth noting that today the share of women in the economy and industry is 46 percent. In the next two years, it is planned to increase the share of women in small and medium-sized businesses from 25 to 40 percent. At the same time, the work carried out on the basis of the bank's systemic approaches, regional dialogues and targeted plans is crucial.

Through open business dialogues, forums and educational programs, many women are realizing their dreams.
