
In Uzbekistan, efforts are underway to increase women's economic activity, widely involve them in entrepreneurship, and ensure their employment. In particular, ensuring their economic independence by supporting the business ideas of enterprising women is of particular importance.

Microcreditbank has prepared a special collection of 250 recommended business projects to encourage women's participation in entrepreneurship. These collections have been distributed to mahallas and districts (cities) and are being utilized as an important practical guide to assist women in developing their business plans.

Meetings are being organized in various areas of Syrdarya region to study and find solutions to problems related to women's entrepreneurship. These meetings provide an opportunity to implement practical measures for engaging women in entrepreneurship and offering them necessary advice and support.
As part of her visit to the Syrdarya region, Shakhlo Ibragimova, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Mikrokreditbank, held meetings with women entrepreneurs in Gulistan city and Boyovut district. The meetings focused on examining their business activities, sources of income, and future plans.
Modern solutions are also being implemented to engage women in entrepreneurship. The loyihalar-fabrikasi.uz platform, launched in collaboration with Mikrokreditbank, People's Bank, and the Business Development Bank, serves as a prime example of this initiative. This platform offers recommended business plans tailored to regional specializations, loan terms, and other essential information. In the second phase of the platform's development, a dedicated section is planned for selling products created by women.
In 2024, as part of family entrepreneurship development programs, a total of 55.3 billion soums in preferential loans were allocated to 3,806 residents and business entities in the region. Of this amount, 51 percent, or 28.3 billion soums, was directed towards supporting the entrepreneurial activities of 2,220 women. As a result, employment was secured for more than 2,200 women.

In accordance with Decree No. PP-122 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 6.7 billion soums in preferential loans have been allocated for vocational training and to encourage women's participation in entrepreneurship. Additionally, an online application option has been made available through the "Mavrid" mobile app.

The measures being implemented to enhance women's economic activity and their broad involvement in entrepreneurship are serving to strengthen their position in society. Efforts directed at increasing entrepreneurial potential through a systematic and innovative approach will undoubtedly bring positive changes to women's lives.
