A press conference was held on the results of the year.

On December 29 of this year, Mikrokreditbank held its regular Press Conference on increasing employment and reducing poverty, implemented in 2025 and plans for 2026.Deputy Chairman of the Management Board S. Melibaev, heads of relevant departments, media representatives and bloggers took part in it.

It should be noted that Microcreditbank is carrying out its activities in our country to create new jobs by developing small business, private and individual entrepreneurship, supporting handicrafts and home-based work, and expanding microfinance services, especially in rural areas.

In particular, at the beginning of the event, the work carried out in 2025 was briefly touched upon. To assist 323 "Mahalla Bankers" in carrying out activities in 1,062 mahallas assigned to 95 regional branches of the bank, 1,062 assistant agents are working on a contractual basis.

To date, 9.8 trillion soums have been allocated, including 7.6 trillion soums to small and medium-sized businesses and 4 trillion soums in loans under the programs. Of these, 812.7 billion soums within the framework of Resolution No. PP 312; "First Step to Business" - 455.7 billion soums, Family Entrepreneurship Program - 1.6 trillion soums; 1.1 trillion soums of loans were allocated for the "My Mahalla" program. This year, 356,612 people were employed. Of these, 135,306 were employed permanently, and 221,306 were involved in entrepreneurship," says Nodir Shodmonov, Deputy Director of the Department of Mahallabay Work and Territorial Project Management.

This year, as a result of the allocation of 899.3 billion soums in loans for 47,561 micro-projects, 97,453 jobs were created.

Also, project packages worth 318 billion soums were delivered to 11,136 low-income households, and 16,704 people were employed.

The heads and deputies of 181 regional branches of the bank improved the income of 412 families and removed them from the social register. In this,

- 137 people were placed in permanent jobs;

- 84 people were involved in entrepreneurship;

- 229 million soums were allocated for 2 people;

- 4 people were trained in professions;

- other (social, medical services and education and circle) 185 people.

Loans totaling 11 trillion soums will be allocated from all sources. Of these, 7.3 trillion soums will be allocated to small and medium-sized businesses, of which 4.3 trillion soums will be allocated within the framework of programs, and about 140 thousand projects will be implemented. Including

- Within the framework of Resolution No. PP-312, 4,760 - 670 billion soums;

- 14,656 within the framework of the "First Step to Business" project - 473 billion soums;

- 80,097 within the framework of the Family Entrepreneurship Program - 1.6 trillion soums;

- 1.3 trillion soums for 30,021 projects within the framework of the "Mahalla Project."

Based on the specialization of mahallas, 2.7 trillion soums of credit funds will be allocated for more than 50 thousand micro-projects in 1,062 assigned mahallas.

- Based on the "One contour - one product" principle, exemplary projects will be implemented on 1,447 hectares of land leased to 5,207 dehkan farms in 159 contours.

With the attraction of a total of 295 million dollars from external sources, 120 million dollars will be allocated to financing investment projects, and 175 million dollars to support small and medium-sized businesses.

At the end of the press conference, journalists had the opportunity to get answers to their questions and familiarize themselves with the spiritual projects being implemented by the bank. In particular, the bank's innovative project "Shell" received special recognition.

In recent years, special attention has been paid in our country to the development of a culture of reading and the support of initiatives in this area. Within the framework of such charitable work, the "Shell" project is being implemented in cooperation with "Microcreditbank" JSCB and "Ijod NASHR" publishing house.

The first publication of the project was the book "The Sky is Close to Earth" by a member of the Writers' Union of Uzbekistan, poet and writer Fakhriddin Khait. The second edition of "The Shell" also didn't keep its readers waiting long. Poetry books like Mansur Jumayev's "Hazrati Ishq" and Fozil Farhod's "Avtoportet" began to be published one after another.

Today, 5 issues of the book have been published with financial support from the bank, with the 4th book being Nodirabegim Ibrohimova's "Moonless Nights" and the 5th book being Bibi Robiya Saidova's "Non-Flowing Stone." In 2026, it is planned to publish books by 10 authors within the framework of the project.
